Mark Goldman is the founder of AdoptHelp Law Center, a full service adoption law firm located in Sherman Oaks, California, and AdoptHelp, Inc., a national birth mother advertising and outreach program. Mr. Goldman graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Irvine, and then attended USC Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. Before founding AdoptHelp Law Center and AdoptHelp, Inc., Mr. Goldman worked as a litigator at two nationally recognized law firms.
In the past five years, Mr. Goldman has helped well over 600 families adopt throughout the United States. His experience in managing hundreds of interstate adoptions from coast to coast has given him expert knowledge of the numerous state-specific laws and policies that must be complied with under state law and the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children. Mr. Goldman’s areas of practice include domestic adoption, interstate adoption, relative, step-parent and adult adoption, contested adoption, guardianships, and birth parent terminations. Mr. Goldman’s passion for giving his clients the gift of parenthood and giving children the gift of family can be seen in every aspect of his practice. Mr. Goldman is a perfectionist who insists that his clients are able to contact him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Mr. Goldman has written and published numerous articles on adoption issues and is a frequent speaker at adoption and infertility seminars, including RESOLVE. Mr. Goldman also assisted in the drafting and passing of legislation reducing adoption fees in California. In addition, Mr. Goldman has served as a Court Appointed Child Advocate, received a grant to work with The Alliance For Children’s Rights, and has provided pro bono assistance to abused and neglected foster-care children and indigent clients for the past 15 years.
