Beverly J. Cox focuses her practice on helping families in the areas of gestational surrogacy, divorce, dissolution, custody, and parentage. Beverly has represented prospective parents from across the United States and around the world, helping them through the legal process of expanding their families. Licensed in Ohio and Michigan, Beverly is “of counsel” at Wagoner & Steinberg, Ltd.  She also serves as an Of Counsel Attorney in Ohio for the International Fertility Law Group and for Reproductive Law Center, Inc.

Beverly served as a pre-hearing attorney with the Michigan Court of Appeals in Detroit, Michigan from 1990 to 1991, and has been a trial attorney since entering private practice in 1991. She has been actively involved in the community as a member and former president of the board of directors for the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter and is a past-President of the Lucas County Bar Association.

Ms. Cox earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Bowling Green State University in 1987 and her Juris Doctorate from The University of Toledo, College of Law in 1990.  She is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and Phi Beta Kappa.
